What is the minimum age to study a course at Bennetts beauty Academy?
You must be at least 16 years of age to be enrolled on a course with us.
What should I wear for my course?
We kindly request that you are a beauty tunic or uniform where possible. Alternatively smart, dark clothing but please no floaty sleeves.
Strictly no jeans or trainers and sensible shoes, please.
Long hair needs to be tied back and your nails should be a suitable length for the course you are participating in, for example, you are required to have short nails for facials and massage.
Will I need to bring anything for my course?
Just yourself (and maybe a model if your course requires one)
All equipment will be provided for you to complete your course for the day.
Can my model stay with me for the whole of the course?
Due to limited space, the models will only be able to be in the academy whilst they have been used as a model. Any time before or after the time they are modelling, they will need to find something else to entertain them. There is a whole host of shops and cinemas around the academy for them to enjoy.

Once you’ve booked your course, you will receive an email confirmation containing the details of your course and terms of conditions that you need to bring with you. We require you to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the course start time.
If a model is required, it will be stipulated in your course requirements so please check.

Intimate hair removal from sensitive areas using Brazilian hot and flexible wax including full bikini waxing.
This is a very popular wax and we will ensure you leave able to perform a professional and competent full Brazilian and Hollywood bikini wax.
Most insurers will not cover Brazilian/ Hollywood waxes under traditional warm wax insurance so this qualification is a must for all therapists and waxing specialists.

This massage therapy training is the tone of the most popular techniques of therapeutic massage of the head, neck, shoulders and face.
The movements are derived from the Indian healing lines and developed over many centuries and are still used successfully today. Diploma in Hopi Ear Candling (Thermo-Auricular Therapy)
Hopi ear candling is a very relaxing and successful treatment using ‘candles’ which are made from lint and natural ingredients which act as a chimney. This treatment is great for clearing and regulating pressure in the head and ears and can be particularly helpful pre-flight and to clear blocked ears.
This treatment is beneficial for clients with sinusitis, glue ear, rhinitis, headaches, colds and flu, excessive wax and tinnitus. The treatment also includes a shiatsu massage over pressure points on the head and face to release blockages.
